Professor Irene Ng is currently the Chair Professor of Department of Pathology in the University of Hong Kong. She is also the Director of the State Key Laboratory of Liver Research, Honorary Consultant in Pathology and Pathologist in Liver Transplant in Hong Kong Queen Mary Hospital. The research of an interdisciplinary team led by Professor Ng aims to unravel the molecular and cellular mechanisms of liver cancer and hepatitis. Professor Ng has made significant contribution to provide important insight in the understanding of liver diseases through her works in clinical study, research, and teaching.
